Wiring Info

Constant Voltage drivers ie 12V or 24V drivers MUST be wired in parallel. See the below diagram on how to wire in parallel.
-
Constant Current drivers ie 350mA or 700mA drivers MUST be wired in series. See the below diagram on how to wire in series.

See the below diagram on how to wire our DALI Relays.
Installation Info
-
All drivers must be at a minimum of 50mm from insulation as per code AS/NZ3000:20007. Drivers also cannot be put on top or under the insulation. There must be a 50mm space between the luminaire and the driver. If the drivers are installed in a hatch or access panel again they must be installed free from insulation preferably mounted on a board with a 50mm air gap between the drivers. Excess heat in a situation with insulation can cause the Dali driver to lose memory, requiring additional programming.
All drivers must be accessible and If the above is not followed warranty will be void.
-
Electricians must use silicon-based heat shrink to secure the back of the fitting, ensuring there is no water leakage and allowing for proper drainage during careful installation to prevent water damage.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in voiding the warranty.

Yes, there are installation videos available to be referenced as a guideline for our plaster in-set light fixtures.
Below are links to the videos, which can also be found along with in-depth information on their individual dedicated product pages.
Maintenance Info
-
Brass and Bronze are suitable for outdoor use as they are natural materials which are durable under harsh climates. These include resistance to saltwater marine environments, solvents and alkalis.
Naturally, over time these fittings will darken caused by a patina effect, brass naturally develops a patina over time formed through oxidation, this is not rust. The fitting can be cleaned but we would suggest letting it patina naturally. The finishes themselves do not require regular maintenance but the glass lens should be cleaned regularly to allow no disturbance to the light source.
Our Brass luminaires are suitable for all areas, including coastal environments. Brass will oxidize over time from a polished look to a natural patina and Bronze will darken over time. This will not compromise the structural integrity.
